Hey everyone! Don’t know how many of you are currently in the same boat, but if you have a teen like me, you’re probably starting to look at work or tertiary education or something.

Anyway, my first born is actually only 15 still, but starting to look at Interior Design as a potential career pathway. We’ve had a look at university courses through the QTAC course guide (remember that?!), but for those who know a little better, what’s a better pathway?

QUT does a Bachelor of Built Environment (Honours)- Interior Design

TAFE QLD does Diplomas of Interior Design, and also has Bachelors of Built Environment

But the one we think might be the way to go is the Griffith Uni Bachelor of Design where she could major in Interior and spatial Design.

I have heard various things about both QUT and Griffith for different courses, so I’m a little unsure about which would be the better institution for this course.

Having someone with a bit more experience and guidance would help out heaps.
